Guitar Setups

Have your guitar set up by someone with 45 years of experience!

 

Guitar Setups include:

 

· Remove old strings

 

· Clean and polish guitar

 

· Install new strings

 

· Stretch new strings

 

· Tune to exact pitch; re-stretch and retune until strings hold pitch

 

· Adjust octave harmonics for proper intonation up and down the neck

 

· Adjust string distance from fret board (action) for optimum playability

 

· Adjust truss rod, if necessary

 

Some adjustments may not be possible if the instrument is not equipped with the proper mechanical features.
